We started DFY Management because we've been in your shoes. One of us spent years running a contracting company — quoting jobs, invoicing clients, tracking expenses, and trying to keep it all straight while also doing the actual work. The other spent six years managing records for a major oil and gas operation, building the kind of organized, audit-ready systems that large companies depend on.
What we both saw was the same problem showing up in different industries: busy people putting off their records until the end of the year, then handing a shoebox of receipts to an accountant and paying a lot of money to find out where things stood.
There's a better way to run a business — and it doesn't require a full-time bookkeeper or a big accounting bill.

Between us, we combine hands-on business ownership with enterprise records management experience and the analytical depth of a mathematics and business degree from the University of Waterloo.
